PORT ANGELES — Olympic Peninsula Alpaca Llama Rescue will conduct its fourth alpaca and llama shearing from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. until complete on Sunday.
The annual shearing is at the the rescue’s farm, 669 Lee’s Creek Road.
The rescue is seeking volunteers to assist with herding, wrangling, chipping, weighing and vaccinating the animals.
Additionally, owners of alpacas and llamas who need shearing may trailer their animals to the farm for shearing at the per animal rate paid directly to the shearer.
