Opposes Congressman Derek Kilmer

Congressman Kilmer reminds me of Willie Nelson and his “On the Road Again” tour.

Derek never misses an opportunity to tell us about the great job he is doing for us, whether it is the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce or his email newsletter.

He paints himself with the broad brush of bipartisanship.

Derek cast his vote for the impeachment inquiry of a duly elected president and to disenfranchise me and millions who voted for Donald Trump.

Derek now holds the best paying job he has ever had. It also comes with travel expenses, so he can visit and tell us how busy he is and of course how lucky we are for his representation.

I was not able to attend the Jefferson County chamber luncheon, so I am using the PDN article for information.

The headline is “Economic disrupters detailed.”

According to the PDN story, he has Port Angeles roots and he understands our economic malaise.

A hex on Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos.

As a loyal Democrat, Derek voted for the impeachment inquiry.

He hit the road to have a family Thanksgiving and share with us his keen understanding of Economics 101.

His party has not addressed any of the problems Derek so acutely detailed at the chamber luncheon.

Don’t expect to see economic answers from his party’s presidential food fight, whether it is Uncle Joe’s “No malarkey tour” or Bernie’s “The best things in life should be free” program.

As a loyal crew member Derek is almost assured of a berth on the Democrat’s ship that will be sailing in Washington state in 2020.

In the meantime the process will play out, there will be no impeachment and Rep. Kilmer will cast a pass vote to demonstrate his bipartisanship and get another two years on the government payroll.
