I’m excited to vote for Bruce Emery for Clallam County Department Community Development director.
Bruce has worked as a planner processing land division, shoreline and critical area permits as well as up-dating the Clallam County code regarding these particulars.
I have seen him present these permits and code up-dates to the Planning Commission, hearing examiners and the various Clallam County Commissioners throughout his tenure there.
I watched him work on behalf of the public and Clallam County by timely processing the many permits submitted during his time there.
Later, I worked with Bruce again while I was building official and fire marshal for the city of Sequim.
Bruce had worked for a local private land developer.
Bruce represented the developer on several land division projects within the city. I was impressed with his knowledge of Sequim’s own city codes and how well he worked with staff in getting these projects completed.
Bruce Emery is justifiably the best fit for the director’s position.
His knowledge of state, county and municipal laws regarding the uses of our beautiful Clallam lands makes him the perfect candidate for this position.
He listens, he understands and he already knows these critical laws that protect individuals and the lands.
He will work for you the individual, and the county.
