LETTER:Supports Purser

After attending a few Clallam County Public Utility District commission meetings, Ken Hays must have taken a non-existent crash course in electric energy systems and believes he has figured out how to simultaneously cut 10 percent fat from the PUD budget, fund broadband to all customers, fund BPA to build new transmission lines to the Peninsula, eliminate transmission congestion, improve an already high-quality service and reliable utility, find a better source of intermittent power than our 95-97 percent clean renewable hydropower, and do all this by lowering rates at the same time — amazing.

This is what you would expect from a politician, all talk.

This is not a person you would want to represent you.

Vote for Commissioner Will Purser and continue to have a utility that has received the coveted American Public Power Association RP3 awards for the last nine years, and the latest award at the highest Diamond level received by less than 10 percent of all APPA members.

You have a professional utility that has the same values as you, the customer.

Vote for Will Purser and maintain our high-quality utility.
