It is good to see one person with the courage to vote his convictions.
I am proud of Senator Joe Manchin.
I am 97 years old.
I have bought gasoline at 10 cents a gallon, and also at $4 per gallon.
In school we were told that we would run out of oil in a few years, but now we have become independent in oil until the pipelines were shut down.
Now we are asking for the oil cartel to produce more so we can buy it and now gas is close to $4 per gallon again.
I am a veteran of World War II.
I believe we have had only one victory since then and now we have to add Afghanistan to our record.
God bless America. It is our only hope.
