I had the good fortune to attend the standing-room-only launch of “Salmon, Cedar, Rock & Rain” at the Port Angeles Library on Friday.
My heartfelt thanks to the native and non-native authors, photographers and publisher who breathed life into this amazing project.
Thanks to Port Book and News, the evening was a celebration of community, an outpouring of hope, and a love fest for the Olympic Peninsula.
The event was a window into how we might collectively restore and re-story this place.
May the stories and images in “Salmon, Cedar, Rock & Rain” light the way to a shared, sustainable future here in this sacred place we call home.
