I have been thinking about writing a letter to the editor regarding the way the COVID-19 vaccinations in Sequim are being handled and decided to write after reading the one titled “Hard On Elders.”
It seems that those directing the Sequim program have not given any consideration to those of us who are in our 80s up into our 90s who, because of age and health cannot endure sitting in a car for 6, 7, 8 or more hours waiting to get vaccinated.
Are we the disposable generation?
For some of us in the 85 and up age with serious health issues getting the COVID-19 could likely be a death sentence.
It would be nice if those organizing the vaccine program would consider our age and health category.
