LETTER:Better here than Florida

There was a letter, a week or so ago, that made a claim about the wonder of how well Florida is doing with COVID-19.

According to the New York Times on Oct. 29:

Washington had 0.32 deaths per 100,000 people and an average of 24.4 deaths per day.

Florida, on the other hand, had 0.59 deaths per 100,000 people and an average of 126.7 deaths per day.

I am glad to be living in Washington state.
