I am encouraged that Ken Hays may be our new Clallam County Public Utility District commissioner.
His was a familiar name after having served years on the Sequim on the city council and as mayor, honorably representing local residents.
Recently, I heard Ken speak about his preparations for the PUD position and his interests in managing Clallam PUD with optimal services now and a focus on planning for the future.
Wow, I was impressed with how well Ken has educated himself on local and regional utility issues, how whole-heartedly he has devoted himself to this campaign and how ready he is to work for us all.
He is a representative we want: well informed, hard working and looking ahead to plan for the our future.
