LETTER: Who’s insubordinate?

In the recent article about the Sunday protests in Olympia, one thing Governor Inslee said stood out to me.

He said President Trump encouraged insubordination by the people.

My question to you is, how can people be insubordinate to a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people?”

How can a public servant be above the people he serves?

This attitude reflects an underlying problem with our government today.

We need to elect people to represent us, not as overlords, but with hearts to serve our will within the bounds of our Constitution.
