I am pleased to have a qualified, experienced candidate to support for the Jefferson hospital board in the Nov. 7 election.
Cheri Van Hoover has been a health care professional and academic for over 30 years and understands the complex network of fiscal, clinical and community obligations inherent in our health system.
Nothing in that system is easy, cheap or without risk.
Cheri has been an educator and health policy professor as well as a practitioner.
She has chaired professional health care organizations and owned several small businesses.
She has been a counselor in a community-based mental health crisis intervention residence.
Her focus on community health is exactly what a hospital commissioner needs.
Their job is to set policy to keep the hospital and community healthy while clearing the way for practitioners to help individuals.
Cheri is the only candidate who has studied and taught health care administration and policy.
She is uniquely equipped for this job.
Let’s elect a professional for our Jefferson hospital board, not an intern.
Vote for Cheri Van Hoover.
Tom Brotherton,
