I write this letter in support of Brian Coughenour for Superior Court judge in the upcoming election.
I have known Brian for 25 years and have worked with him professionally for the past 16 years.
Brian is a fair and compassionate judge, as evidenced by his 15 years as judge for the Lower Elwha Klallam tribe as well as his recent service as Superior Court judge in Port Angeles.
I supported Brian for Superior Court judge when he was appointed by the governor’s office.
As I recall, Mr. Neupert was also considered at that time — the governor’s office chose Brian over Mr. Neupert.
Brian will continue to be a great addition to our Superior Court and has my vote in the upcoming election.
