There are people all over Clallam County who really want Ron Richards to be their next county commissioner — but they can’t vote for him because of the recent county charter amendment restricting voting for a commissioner to within each district.
It is up to us who live in District 2.
Ron is by far the best candidate.
He is running against Randy Johnson, a co-founder of Green Crow Corp.
With only three commissioners, we do not need two timber business guys.
Commissioner Bill Peach already does an excellent job representing forestry in all aspects, from the loggers to the companies to the public and private forest owners.
Ron Richards has experience in business, law, commercial fishing and previous county government service.
He will ably represent the interests of the all citizens countywide — but only we can vote him into office.
However you feel about national elections, be sure to vote for local officials, including and especially Ron Richards for county commissioner.
