For years I have been preaching to my family how important it is not only to vote but to be informed about who they are voting for.
I got a lot of excuses for not doing either of those things: “My vote doesn’t count,” “they are all crooks,” “one or another, it makes no difference; they are all the same.” My personal favorite: “What if they turned out bad; it would be my fault.”
These past three years has made some of my family sit up and take notice.
Yes, your vote does count, yes some of them are crooks, and yes it surely does make a difference who you vote for.
Who would have known what a crazy ride we would be on today?
We have a great choice for U.S. president this time around with Elizabeth Warren.
When she says she has a plan for that, she means it.
So different from who we have in the Oval Office today who doesn’t have a plan about anything.
His policy seems to be if-Obama-did-it-let’s-get-rid-of-it.
This has caused a lot of confusion at home as well as abroad.
We need leadership.
So please join me in supporting Elizabeth Warren for president.
