I write to urge you to vote yes in support of both of the Crescent School District levies.
Our community values knowledge, truth, diversity and critical thinking.
These are the foundations of a healthy society and a healthy democracy.
Public education is the institution that promotes access to and expression of these ideals in our young people.
The education programs and operations levy renewal are basically to maintain operations.
Students and our district’s educators need to be able to learn and work safely in buildings that are maintained and cared for.
Crescent has more students entering their system than leaving the district and that is a clear message that what Crescent is doing needs to be continued.
In our family we voted yes for both levies because we felt it was the right thing to do.
Crescent School District is a reflection of our community and a source of pride.
The capital projects levy will help with the health, safety and security of students and staff.
Please join my family in voting yes and returning your ballot by Feb. 11 (Tuesday).
