Supporting our school and voting yes on the Crescent School District levies is an easy choice for my family and me.
In 2017 we were a young family with two kids rapidly approaching school age.
We wanted to find the right school that fit our needs.
We wanted our kids to go to a small school with great opportunities, small class sizes, and a tight-knit community feeling where everyone looks out for each other.
We found that in Joyce and the Crescent School District.
Our kids have now been enrolled at Crescent for several years and we are very happy with the education they receive and the environment in which they receive it.
Like any building, the school requires constant maintenance and repairs.
Crescent’s staff has done a great job of keeping the school up to date and in working order while being fiscally responsible with taxpayer dollars.
The current needs for Crescent School include a new roof over the cafeteria building, renovations for the lunch and music rooms, and renovations to both the boy’s and girl’s locker rooms.
The money raised through these levies ensures the school will continue to be a safe welcoming place for students and staff while preventing a massive increase in cost to taxpayers for building replacement down the road.
