LETTER: Safe distance

I am writing this letter as a mother concerned for her son and everyone else’s sons and daughters.

Some businesses on the North Olympic Peninsula have been designated as essential and those employees have to go to work.

Yes, they are fortunate to have jobs, but they are put in harm’s way every day they go to work.

Some residents just do not adhere to the physical distance guidelines intended to protect all of us.

Please try to treat every one as though their life and yours depends on your actions.
