LETTER: Roundabouts a mistake

The WSDO of something but not Transportation is continuing down a path to destruction and attenuation of traffic flow and they are lying to the public in many areas.

They combine stop signs and traffic signals and say roundabouts are better than the combination.

They stupidly say roundabouts are more efficient than traffic signals but if you think 10-15 mph is better than 30-35 mph average you need a new calculator.

Current plans at west end of the bridge include two crude traffic signals, a complete violation of federal standards near roundabouts.

Their two roundabouts will waste about 500 hours a day with 17,800 vehicles passing through them.

There are many additional errors and omissions in their plans but I am running out of words limitation.
