Why are we still having these conversations?
LGBTQ people are in Clallam County. We are in Clallam communities and perhaps even in your home.
Wouldn’t it be far more useful to everyone if you espoused that people are different and that beauty lies in our differences rather than encouraging useless bigotry?
Those of us who have the love and support of our families, communities, and religious institutions to acknowledge our non-heterosexual and gender binary identities are able to rise above the uselessness and the pain of discrimination to become proud, happy, tax-paying citizens.
