Please, good people everywhere, reach out in kindness and reconciliation to all who are in peril from such hard and dangerous politicizing during this election year.
It is hard to remember us so polarized as a people.
May our country and our democracy rise above the rancor to build up the goodwill we know lives in our collective heart and to replace disgusting politics with courteous, balanced discourse.
May those in pain and fear, those who feel disenfranchised on all sides, awake not to despair and grievance but to the light of hope and positive outcomes.
And may those who will not be reconciled at least not take violent paths to harm and disrupt.
