The 2025 Tri-Area Garden Club Plant Sale was a great success.
More than 3,000 plants were sold in the Horticulture Building at the Jefferson County Fairground this year.
Club members donated most of the plants, with some coming from local nurseries, farms and estates.
In addition, local artist and club member Linda Pollard made ceramic pieces, we had garden sculptures made by members, and we had sedum and lettuce planters and hanging baskets for sale.
Our Plant Sale Committee, headed by Marilyn Berry and Diane Davis, worked hard over the past year to pull it all together. They were aided by our dedicated club members and their family and friends.
The Tri-Area Garden Club uses 60 percent of its proceeds for grants to local organizations and to horticultural students. Some past recipients include the Gathering Place, Salish Sea Elementary and the Recovery Café.
We want to thank our plant sale volunteers and express our deep gratitude to the community for coming out to the sale.
The funds raised will provide horticultural education, beautification and food security to Jefferson County in the coming year.
We look forward to another fruitful year growing plants for next year’s sale and hope our sale will be as fun and rewarding as this one was.
Thank you again to those who came to the sale and supported our efforts to help our community.
