LETTER: Pastor Tony in Port Townsend should not be judged

Two years ago I sat with Pastor Tony for several hours at the bedside of a dying friend (fellow atheist) of mine. I was impressed that Pastor Tony is a good human being who supports and does not judge.

Neither should he be judged, as other than what he is, “a good person who tries to help people in this valley of tears.”

I like what Lady Astor said more than 100 years ago about gay people: “We should not care what people do in private so long as they don’t do it in the streets and frighten the horses.”

Today horses have much more to fear from narrow-minded horses’ rear ends.
