Let’s go at this in a more common sense way.
My house is 100 years old.
We’ve put on a new roof, plumbing, electrical and other things as they have come up.
If we didn’t have the funds at the time we would save up.
I would vote for a school levy to fix roofs, plumbing, electrical.
I know of one other district that has went this route and it worked out.
Then when that’s paid off we could go for the other things on the school’s list.
But I will not vote for this huge levy amount.
You need to be more reasonable.
And telling me that the Port Angeles City Council, Clallam County Commissioners, Chamber of Commerce or any other agency or organization is behind the Port Angeles School District’s levy is not going to change my vote.
