Regarding the debate on fascism as a form of socialism: It is not.
Mussolini touted fascism as the merger of government with corporations which is what we have through Citizens United and the subsequent massive corporate corruption of our political system and government agencies.
Upton Sinclair also stated fascism was capitalism plus murder which is what you get when politicians treat people like dirt (immigrants, their children, other minorities, the disabled and elderly) under the guises of patriotism and Christianity, coupled with marginalizing and disenfranchising most voters.
Trump, Pence and their toadies in Congress have done this ever since they took office.
