I enjoy the letters to the editor in Peninsula Voices.
They’re both interesting and fun to read.
For example, take a recent one critical of Friday Peninsula Daily News columnist Michelle Malkin’s columns [“Malkin negative,” March 3 Peninsula Voices].
The writer says, in one sentence, that Malkin’s words are “divisive … and thoughtless.”
And in the next sentence, she wants the paper to present differences of opinions.
And in the next one, she says, “We need to understand and learn from views that are different from our own.”
And in the next one, she says she never reads Malkin anyway.
Huh?
By the way, Malkin’s column is one of the two I consistently read.
The other is Pat Buchanan’s on Tuesdays.
And although I don’t always agree with columnists Paul Krugman, Thomas Friedman or Cal Thomas, the Peninsula Daily News has my permission to retain them.
