LETTER: Land of the free except for unborn Americans

Perhaps you have noticed some protesting going on at Planned Parenthood on Eighth Street in Port Angeles.

For several months, local concerned citizens are exercising their right to demonstrate on behalf of voiceless, unborn Americans who are currently in jeopardy of losing their lives simply because they are “unwanted.”

As one demonstrator said, these “blobs of undifferentiated cells” are being exterminated at the hands of abortionists and — to date — 60 million innocent souls have been deprived the right of life, according to the Guttmacher Institute.

America has the tradition of coming to the aid of the innocent and helpless throughout the world.

Consider our role and sacrifice in emancipating Europe and Asia in the past century.

America sacrificed thousands of lives in rescuing the world from despotic rule and today, due to miseducation, we have developed our own form of terrorism of the unwanted, unborn Americans.

They aren’t legally Americans until birth, so they must be wanted.

It is a scientific fact that the unborn human fetus is human.

In fact, President Ronald Reagan had a group of distinguished biological ethicists meet during his administration to determine whether a fetus can feel pain.

They concluded it was at the eighth week of gestation, well within the period when abortions are performed.

So here we are with Planned Parenthood claiming to be the friend of the modern family, but at what expense?

America is the land of the free with one glaring exception: You had better be wanted.
