After touring Stevens Middle School and listening to Port Angeles School Superintendent Marty Brewer’s presentation about the school district’s plan to update our school facilities, I am voting yes on the school levy.
I hope you all will educate yourselves and come to the same conclusion. It’s worth our time and energy to invest in our schools.
We have gotten by for many years but updates are desperately needed in several areas as outlined in the 30-year facilities plan.
Schools are apparently financed at least partially by the local community.
I hope this community will vote for a brighter future for the next generation.
Please vote yes for the capital levy.
