The Jan. 20-21 letter in Peninsula Voices, “Defends Obama,” was right on.
It should have been titled “Obama Assertions, Backup Data Not Included.”
Like Dr. Thomas Sowell of the Hoover Institution, the writer’s complaint about a lack of facts to support assertions (and how the date was collected) is the very thing that should concern all readers, whether the subject is climate change, unemployment figures, inflation, etc.
