I’m responding to the two rants published in the April 2 Peninsula Daily News’ “Rants and Raves” feature that complained about the trash on U.S. Highway 101 between Sequim and Port Angeles.
I agree that a few uncivilized and rude people have created an unsightly mess.
I have a unique solution:
The state should raise the cost of license tabs by about $20 a year and use that money to employ road crews to clean up the mess.
