I would like to add my name to those who encourage the Peninsula Daily News to drop Michelle Malkin as a Friday columnist.
I’ve read her column many times, only to find them mostly mean-spirited with little regard for intelligent discussion.
There are many more qualified conservative columnists who write with the intent of igniting discussion and/or who make solid arguments for their points of view
Some names to consider are George Will, Washington Post; David Brooks, New York Times; Peggy Noonan, Wall Street Journal; and Paul Gigot, Wall Street Journal.
There are many more who present cogent arguments for conservative views, but Malkin is not one of them.
I believe your readers are entitled to writers who better represent conservative politics.
