LETTER: GOP propaganda

Think back, if you can, to the days after 9/11.

You could not find an American flag to buy.

The country was united, the likes of which hadn’t been seen since WWII.

Then we invaded a country that was not even remotely involved, Iraq.

Suddenly there was unrest and skepticism about the war and we were bombarded with the GOP propaganda line, “If you don’t support the war, you don’t support the troops.’’

Ten years later, they blatantly admitted the truth: It was all about the oil.

Fast forward to our unprecedented modern-day political reality.

Now, if you don’t support the modern GOP’s, dare I say fascist, playbook, you are “Not a Patriot.’’

Come on people, let’s not get fooled again.
