I enjoy reading most of the columns in the Peninsula Daily News.
However, I was disappointed and disgusted that the PDN would run such a hate-filled, vitriolic column as Michelle Malkin’s column in the Feb. 10-11 PDN [“Hillary Clinton’s Femma-A-Goguery”].
I have no respect for Ms. Malkin’s mudslinging and name-calling in the best of her columns, but this time, she went past the confines of any moral decency.
I personally agree with Hillary Clinton and “her ideological sisters-in-arms” who support rights and opportunities for women.
But that’s not the issue.
I appreciate the columnists’ opinions from both sides of issues as long as they are presented in an intelligent and rational way.
I may not agree with the writers, but I respect their differing opinions.
We are in post-election volatile times right now.
Perhaps Ms. Malkin’s type of hate-filled rhetoric is acceptable wherever the column is submitted for syndication, but I’ve found people here to be good, kind, decent and caring individuals.
Please find us a columnist who can present the conservative side of issues in a rational, responsible and reasoning manner without fueling the anger, fear and hatred that is already dividing our communities.
