LETTER: Get out and vote

From Sequim

I find the response Save Our Sequim made the the recent ruling on the MAT clinic interesting.

“Who represents the people of Sequim? Did we not vote for a city council?”

Didn’t you answer your own question?

City council, elected officials, represent the the people of Sequim.

For whatever reasons, they did not take up your cause.

This is a reflection of today’s politics.

If elected officials, at any level, don’t keep their promises or cease to represent your views, vote for someone that does.

That is what Nov. 3 is about.

Do your homework and make your choice.

You may or may not get your choice but you voted and that is what is critical to a democracy.
