LETTER: Get a better understanding of the Family Health and Sexual Health program

The time is coming to send children back to school.

There, they will be exposed to the Family Life and Sexual Health (FLASH) program.

The opportunity to opt out of this program is at best obscure, and parents are not being given the real objectives of this program.

To be better informed of the counterpoints to FLASH, you can visit www.roarpa.org and see what is not being presented to our children in the Port Angeles School District.

For a full understanding of FLASH, you can visit the website for the state Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction at www.k12.wa.us.

Richard Coulsen,

Port Angeles
