LETTER: Election victory doesn’t mean we should ignore abuse of power

Regarding the Aug. 3 letter “Get over it, ignoring Donald Trump’s present behavior and his abuse of power as president is not a responsible citizen’s duty just because he managed to get elected under a cloud of suspicion.

Trump supporters glossing over his incompetence as president is just one more lie Republicans are expecting the American people to accept on top of their continuing false claim that trickle-down economics will work and the Republican Party of Jesus-users is the only pro-life party.

The Republican Party is all for human and planetary exploitation in whatever form its members can achieve through military power, “churchiness,” banking policy, environmental policy, labor policy, educational policy and medical policy.
