LETTER: Drug interdiction at border takes people

An article in the PDN on Feb. 1 stated that fentanyl worth about $3.5 million and methamphetamine worth over $1 million was seized by agents at a border patrol at Nogales, Ariz.

No wall would have stopped this load of drugs.

It took people.

When there are so many avenues for drugs and illegal immigrants to enter this country from Mexico, why is our president insisting on using only one method in an attempt to control these?

My belief is that the profit from building a wall, which is likely to be huge, would go into the coffers of either a Trump business or those of his allies, perhaps even some persons from Russia, regardless of the name that is on the contract.
