LETTER: Different fears

This is regarding the Peninsula Daily News’ headline on Thursday, “Republicans are pleased; Dems fear for democracy.”

Bruce Cowan, the 24th Legislative District Democratic Party chair, was quoted as saying, “I fear for our democracy”on the front page of the PDN.

Why do I point his statement out?

Because what I fear is where the Democratic Party will be leading the nation if one of their Socialist presidential candidates get elected.

I fear open borders, free health care for illegal aliens, dangerous result of sanctuary cities policies, not enforcing the laws they don’t like, overlooking homelessness and socialism in general.

What I don’t fear is a president that has creating such prosperity for all Americans which includes Democrats, liberals and progressives.

Most of all I feel and fear the hatred of people on the left who are looking down on people who don’t share the same views of our country’s bright future under the current administration.
