Regarding the letter “Progressive lies” (PDN, June 19).
That “power corrupts” is best illustrated by President Donald Trump’s abuses of his office and his indefensible blockage of Congress’ constitutional oversight responsibilities.
As for “lies about global warming,” the denial of clear scientific evidence is truly delusional and pernicious.
Why do media reports and opinion pieces, educators, bureaucrats and qualified subject matter experts so often support progressive ideas?
Paul Krugman’s witty, but in my opinion valid, answer is that “the facts have a well-known liberal bias.”
