Letter: COVID’s effects

COVID’s effects

I have been thinking on COVID-19.

The Clallam County tracking, at www.clallam.net/coronavirus, shows that a good percentage of them getting it are the under-30 crowd.

I have often wondered about that.

Are they aware, for instance, that they may get it and it goes away very quick and they think it’s a cake walk and probably spread the word.

The problem is that there are side effects and they are serious.

As far as I can tell, for instance, the lungs seem to take a beating that the COVID survivor will have to deal with for the rest of his or her life.

There are additional problems and many are serious.

I would suggest that folks who unaware of this Google “COVID long hauler” or go to www.survivorcorps.com for a little education on what can happen even if it doesn’t seem like much at the time.

Just saying.
