LETTER: Closure and bypass and Highway 20 were poorly coordinated

Why didn’t the state Department of Transportation coordinate its work with the full closure on state Highway 20 that had been set for June 19 for culvert replacement, instead of closing it now for road maintenance?

This closure and bypass cost our business, Eaglemount Rockery Cottages/Motel, $200 to $400 a day in revenue.

This was really terrible planning on DOT’s part.
