In a March 28 letter, “Channeling Money,” the author states DOGE found some $312 million in Small Business Administration loans paid during 2020-21 to 5,593 businesses whose only listed owner was 11 years old or younger.
There is no source cited or information on where to locate the underlying facts, and apparently, there are no supporting facts.
I would like to suggest that he and any others inclined to give credence to the words of Elon Musk or the entertainment personalities at Fox News familiarize themselves with the fact-checking sites available to anyone who cares about the concept of truth.
Factcheck.org, truthorfiction. com, leadstories.com and snopes.com are all very helpful in discerning reality from fantasy and outright lies.
As responsible and honorable adults, we should all take the business of disseminating facts very seriously.
Spreading lies is not going to make America great.
