After more than 40 years as an attorney and judicial officer in Clallam County, I know the two individuals vying for the Clallam County Superior Court judge position.
I like judges who have brains and experience to research the law.
They should be hard workers who know and like people and can get their hands dirty when not on the bench or in their office.
But most of all, I want a judge with common sense who is fair.
Brian Coughenour has all of those characteristics and should be retained as our Superior Court judge.
