LETTER: Brian Coughenour an oustanding candidate for Clallam Superior Court

His well-rounded accomplishments and empathy are unparalleled. I urge voters to vote for him.

I have been a lawyer for 60 years. Rarely have I encountered anyone as outstanding as Brian P. Coughenour.

I strongly endorse his election as Clallam County Superior Court judge and urge the voters to do the same.

I have known Judge Coughenour for 25 years and consider him a gifted professional as well as a friend.

His commitment to law, justice and fairness is unparalleled.

He devoted a good deal of his practice to serving the underprivileged and working families, not special-interest groups.

Brian’s judicial service is remarkable: tribal judge, court commissioner and now Superior Court judge.

Judge Coughenour made many contributions to the arts in this community as well.

His performances with Olympic Theatre Arts and the Port Angeles Light Opera Association were unforgettable.

He is also, of course, an exemplary parent of two fine sons and a grandfather of Cody’s daughter, Caya.

We are fortunate to have a judge with such wisdom and empathy as Brian Coughenour.

Harry A. Jackson,

Port Angeles
