My husband and I feel very fortunate to be an integral part of our grandchildren’s online education this fall.
They are in the first and sixth grades at Dry Creek Elementary School.
One interesting aspect of online education is the opportunity for family members to observe the teachers teaching.
We have been so impressed with the teachers’ enthusiasm, patience and dedication.
They are working long hours creating new lesson plans and teaching methods to use in the online environment.
Despite these long hours, both teachers have been readily available to answer any questions or concerns.
Wonderful teachers such as these two, and I’m sure there are many in the Port Angeles School District, are some of the shining stars of our community.
Hard working, dedicated, loving, caring, professionals who want the best for our children.
