LETTER: A way to serve

In the national interest, we are sometimes asked to serve, in ways we may not like or understand.

Young men were drafted to serve in the military.

There was uncertainty as to risk and outcome.

Many did not return.

We are now asked to take a shot to fight a virus.

Yes, again there is uncertainty and risk.

But, compared to those who have given their lives, it is not too much to ask.
