West End Thunder drag races last of season

FORKS — If the weather forecast holds, this weekend will bear cloudy and foggy — but likely dry — conditions for racing in Forks.

West End Thunder will offer its last drag races of the season Saturday and Sunday at Forks Municipal Airport on South Forks Avenue.

General admission costs $10 for adults, while children 12 and younger enter free. The entry fee for the race is $35, $15 for the Show and Shine.

Weather permitting, gates will open for the general public at 8:30 a.m. Crews and drivers will be allowed in beginning at 7 a.m.

Proceeds go toward the West End Thunder Club, which has organized the races since 2006.

For more information on the races, visit www.west endthunder.com.
