PORT ANGELES — Deer Park Cinema in Port Angeles is selling tickets now for an early access showing of “The Boys in the Boat” at 4 p.m. Sunday.
Dec. 25 is the day that Amazon MGM personnel had said the film would open to the public Christmas Day in theaters nationwide, but Deer Park is selling tickets on its website at https://deerpark.ncwmovies.com for the early showing.
It also is selling tickets for showings on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The theater is east of Port Angeles just off U.S. Highway 101 at 96 Deer Park Lane. The film also will be shown at Rose Theatre in Port Townsend, but showtimes had not been scheduled as of Tuesday.
