PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College will showcase student talent at the second annual Peninsula’s Got Talent show tonight.
The show will be at 7 p.m. at the Little Theater on the Peninsula College Port Angeles campus at 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
Past entries have included singing, martial arts, hula hoop dancing and sound effects.
First prize is a $500 scholarship and an opportunity to perform at the 2017 Juan de Fuca Festival.
Second prize is a $300 scholarship and third prize is a $200 scholarship.
Scholarships are applied to student accounts through the financial aid office. Graduating or transfer students receive their prizes in the form of checks.
The judges include Juan de Fuca Festival Director Dan Maguire and board President Cathy Haight, Peninsula College President Luke Robins and Associated Student Council representative Alicia Dugan.
The master of ceremonies will be Associated Student Body members Kelly Kevershan and Alex Losee.
