Sequim variety show to feature dance troupe

SEQUIM — The Olympic Mountain Cloggers dance troupe will be featured at the next Your Community Variety Show, set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The free show will be at the old Dungeness Schoolhouse, 657 Towne Road.

First dance act

Michael Bunnell, producer and host of the monthly program, said this is the first dance act to be booked since the show started last September.

The Olympic Mountain Cloggers have been dancing in Sequim since 1985.

The four-piece band Farmstrong, well-known for a mix of music often billed as “Beyond Bluegrass,” will open this month’s variety show.

Other included acts

Other acts include Nightingale, Derek Stallman with Scottish fiddle tunes and Olympic Generations.

The show normally has up to 10 acts but has been limited to seven this month because several acts will run longer than usual.
