Sequim seeks performers for summer programs

SEQUIM — The city of Sequim is accepting applications for performers for summer programs.

The deadline for applications is May 1.

The summer programs are:

• Music in the Park, held Tuesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 27 through Aug. 29 at the James Center for the Performing Arts at Carrie Blake Park, 202 N. Blake Ave.

• Music on the Plaza, taking place June through September on the Civic Center Plaza, 152 W. Cedar St.

• Performances that include a pianist for the month of July during the Keying Around program.

Applications are available on the city website at www.sequimwa.gov and should be sent to the city clerk, 152 W. Cedar St., Sequim, WA 98382.

The musical programs rely heavily on the generosity of community sponsorships, said City Clerk Karen Kuznek-Reese. Contact her office for information on the promotional opportunities for businesses and the levels of sponsorship available.
